Lewis Searman Notes. There are number of Patrick family Ancestry trees that claim Lewis Searman Patrick died at Eastern State Hospital in 1766. There is even a photo of the marker at Eastern State with the name Lewis Patrick. The is a problem that permeates Ancestry trees. Many simply do not bother to check data and dates and just add whatever they find from other sources. This causes the misinformation to propagate across different trees. So, with that said. Lewis Spearman Patrick died in 1766. Eastern State Hospital in Virginia was not built until 1773.
